Windfall Villa Looks Out Over The Caribbean

Windward Beach - Nevis Island

|
Elegantly situated at the base of Nevis Peak, "Windfall" offers unparalleled privacy, beauty, and tranquillity. From its verandah, you'll enjoy panoramic views of Antigua, Montserrat, and Guadeloupe. The sounds of trade winds, tree frogs and morning doves will soothe and relax you, and are interrupted only by the occasional hiker bound for the rain forest trail. The first house built in this part of the quieter Gingerland region of Nevis, "Windfall" may be the perfect spot to restore your sense of peace and serenity.
Windfall was designed in the style of a 19th century plantation house. Handcrafted by a Russian carpenter, his caring extends throughout the home's 3,200 square feet. (The frame was built with wooden dowels -- no nails!) With its mahogany floors and cathedral ceilings, the interior architecture evokes an almost meditative atmosphere, while the full wraparound verandah invites hours of relaxed reading, contemplation, or conversation. The house's surrounding garden includes an assortment of tropical plants and flowers as well as cinnamon, mango, banana, and grapefruit trees. Children especially love the daily appearance here of green monkeys!
